The Community Action Agency’s Food Stamp Outreach Program for CalFresh provides information, resources and eligibility workers at various events and agencies throughout Tehama County. The purpose of our Food Stamp Outreach is 3 fold. The first is to increase nutrition opportunities for low-income families. The second is to help supplement decreasing household incomes with a resource to purchase healthy food. And, the third, a result of increased food stamp use, an increase of federal dollars coming into the local economy.
