Advocacy

Tehama County Community Action Agency advocates with local and state leaders on the behalf of our low-income community to bring resources to Tehama County assisting our low-income community in gaining increased self-sufficiency.  In addition we work with local agencies in securing funding that provides much needed services to low-income families.

 California Nevada Community Action Partnership

Cal/Neva is the member Association of California and Nevada Community Action Agencies (CAA's) and other non-profit organizations that together serve over 4 million low-income individuals each year.

Capacity Building Workshop
Want to learn how to become a better agency, organization, or service by identifying and developing a business plan? Weatherization
Weatherization Services for the Low Income, Elderly, or Disabled in Tehama County are available on a limited basis starting in December 2011. Contact Mike Baldwin at (530) 528-4046 or mbaldwin@tcdss.org for more information, or check out the Weatherization section of this website.

 

FOOD SHARE PROJECT
Any 501(c)3 or faith based organization is invited to participate in the Food Share Project, which will provide access to low cost food purchases and delivery. If interested in more information call 530-527-6159 

 

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
You may qualify for FREE tax preparation services. Check out our calendar for available dates. Call 530-527-2611 to find out if you are eligible and set an appointment!
